    Hi guys,

My wife and I are finishing the basement and building my home theater. I'm thinking of using cork flooring. Has anyone used this in their HT? One requirement is that the theater is semi-soundproof. What about using it on the walls in there as well? All suggestions and comments welcome!

    Thanks,

    Aaron

I think cork would work great for sound abatement. If you can stand all that cork on the floor and the walls. You wont have to worry about missing the dart board. [IMG]
I saw the flooring done on HGTV once... it came out looking really nice.

I must say a cork floor is very elegant when installed and finished properly. It isn't hard, but when it is done wrong, it looks like crap!!!

I think that if you do cork on the floor, you may want to try a carpet on the lower half of the walls. I have seen this combination with both hunter green and maroon and it looked beautiful!!!

    Good luck. . .
