    Hey all,

I'm asking this question second hand here, so I hope I can get the point across.

Is there a non memory intensive program like corel that can get a snap to grid type scale drawing done in the computer? Preferably a program that can be run on a laptop? Guy at work would like it for his part of the buisness and I thought I'd ask around to see what's available..

    Thanks!

i'm not exactly sure what kind of drawing you are talking about (never used corel either), but gimp should be able to handle just about anything he needs, unless it is a specific function that it does not support.

I've used Visio on occasion to make drawings to scale. It has annotations for architectural and engineering drawings.
