i thoguht it was kinda cool... you type in a name of a band, and what it'll do is find a bunch of other artists similar, then form a 'map' around the artist you type in. the bands closer in proximity to the original artist would be most similar, the ones farther away are less similar but still related...

cool if you're lookin to discover new music and don't know where to start

The site has a ways to go yet. I just found out that The Fugs, Sea Level, and Frigid Pink weren't available yet. The matches I got for Dixie Dregs didn't make sense. Sea Level would of been a good one, but no-ooooo!
