My uncle taped our wedding years on a PAL camcorder and sent me the VHS tape. I need to convert it into NTSC so I can watch it on my TV...any suggestions? Also a friend of mine needs to do the opposite for family in England.

There should be some video houses around you that can do it. It's going to cost you $30-40US to do it tho.

Check with the family in England if their VCR can handle NTSC - most "new" VCRs sold in the last few years in the UK can happily handle PAL or NTSC.

I offer quality hi-fi stereo conversions for $15.00 per tape (2 hours) plus postage.
I can transfer any foreign tape to NTSC (US standard) or vice versa.
If interested, email me.
;)
P.S. Transfers to DVD-R, DVD+R or DVD+RW also available.

I saw a multi-system VCR at Fry's for around $300. Don't know how well it works though, might be worth it if it can also do conversion for DVDs (my player plays PAL discs but doesn't convert them to NTSC).
