    Hello All,
Thanks to those who helped me on the DIY s-video question. My latest question is this: Is it possible to convert an S-video cable to component video via an adapter or breakout box etc.? My DVD, S-VHS, and sat receiver are all connected to my Onkyo 575 via S-video and from the Onkyo to the Toshiba TN50X81 RPTV via S-video.
For reasons too great to go into here, I'd like to convert the S-video coming from my Onkyo to component video and connect to the Toshiba. Is this even possible?

    I don't think that's possible.
From what I know, about the only thing that'll do that is some of the high end Kenwood recievers. They have a universal video feature that will combine any input into any output, but I don't know of any aftermarket devices that do the same.
I'm sure they're not too far off though.
