I just installed a 120GB drive and now have plenty of room to re-rip my CDs to lossless compression rather than lossy mp3. I'm either going to use WMP 9's lossless format or the Monkey Audio lossless scheme. I have a feeling the .wma lossless format has greater potential for general acceptance so I'm leaning that direction. My problem is I can't find any way to convert lossless .wma files into .wavs. I want this flexibility in case I'm wrong and .wma lossless doesn't catch on...that way I can re-convert the files to .wav and then to whatever lossless format does take hold. The benefit being that I'll have a bit-for-bit duplicate without having to re-rip the CD again. Perhaps I'm overlooking something in WMP 9? I just don't see a setting to convert the lossless files to .wav.
