Converting Home MOvies to VCD help (1 Viewer)

Guys,
I want to convert home movies, Digital8 format, to vcd's...
I can transfer the movies to my Sony Vaio Laptop, what do I need to do after that??

Convert to MPG and use Nero or other program to write the mpg file into vcd, i wouldn't recommend this for a D8 video as your quality will be lost tremendously.
