    Hey all,

I'm making a compilation DVD and most of the videos on it are 720x480. all the material is 4x3 full screen. However, a few of the videos are 704x480 and i'd like it all to be uniform so that I dont have to create differnet titles for the few that are 704. any suggestions? i'm using TMPGenc DVD Author.

The pixel aspect ratios for 720 and 704 are the same. 720 just has 8 extra pixels on both sides, which you normally don't see on a TV anyway. So the correct way to resize is to add the padding, not to stretch the video.

If the video is not in MPEG, the easiest way would be to use VirtualDub and have it center the video in the new frame size. You could also use AviSynth to do the centering on the fly.
