I know I read about this some time ago, but now I can't find it. I recently got a Samsung SIR-T351, and I would like to setup 1080i mode to be letterboxed on my 4:3 set. If anybody could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

    Greetings

You can go to the keohihdtv site and find information on doing a manual vertical squeeze for the 1080i section of the TV.

Other than that ... just go into service convergence and tidy up the 4:3 HD image and set the STB to output 4:3 so that it downconverts the hd signal to 810i.

If you need assistance doing the vertical squeeze ... just call me.

    regards
