convergence problem (1 Viewer)

I have Mitsubishi 55807 that's having a convergence problem.

The picture will look fine then randomly the convergence will go out of whack -- seperating red/gree/blue/etc.

Going into the convergence menu sometimes lets you reset -- sometimes not.

Anyone ever experience this problem or have a solution?

Andrew, I also have that model. Do you mean the picture and words get distorted and kind of arched? That is a known problem with the 55807, and I also had to have it repaired about 1 year ago. The solder joints on the convergence panel fail and causes this. Luckily I have an extended warranty and it was repaired in my house, took about an hour. Good luck.

Unfortunatley, my extended warranty has expired, but I do have someone coming out next week.

Yes the arching and blurring do occur -- especially on the edges.

After watching normally for a while, the color convergence on the edges also goes out of whack -- separating red blue green.

How is your picture now?
