My salesman told me that I ONLY need to do 56-pt convergence on one Picture mode and it copy to all other picture modes. Is it true?
How about inputs? Do I need to do the 56pt convergence on all inputs?

Maybe others would know more, but I don't think it exactly copies the 56 point convergence setting to all other picture modes. It just applies to all picture modes. I could be wrong.
I think it's best to do the 56 point in Full mode since that's when the picture is undistorted for anamorphic DVDs and all parts of the screen is used (with the right aspect ratio). The other picture size modes should follow suit.

I don't know if it technically copies it or not, but you definitely only have to align one grid. It doesn't matter what screen mode or input you use.
My advice - when you're done and hit '7' to save and it says 'Please Press Touch Focus' DON'T. Just press '7' again to exit. After that, never push Touch Focus again. On most sets it does more harm than good - at least on a properly aligned set.
