I have a Sony Kp43HT20 43" 4X3 HDTV; I have adjusted the convergence and the picture is great in full-screen mode. When I watch an anamorphic widescreen DVD (Samsung progressive-scan DVD player set to 16:9 and Enhanced mode enabled on TV), the convergence is off (ghosting on text, red & green areas on the border between the picture area and black bars). Does this sound like a TV problem, a DVD-player problem or calibration issue?

Greetings

16:9 mode has a separate convergence grid. I will assume that you are using the service level convergence.
