    Hi guys,
I understand that we should have contrast level by 30% to 40% on TVs which reduces the risk of burn in, but what about contrast level on dvd players? I mean if you turn it all the way up or more than 40% will you risk the burn in? or is it safe to do it? any thoughts?

It's strictly for fine-tuning purposes, when playing a disc that may have been authored carelessly or badly. Otherwise, keep all the picture-control settings in a DVD player at the factory-default neutral setting.
