I'm glad that they're going back to the old style!

I didn't want to lump this in with the rest of the E3 stuff because I thought it'd be nice to have a discussion about Contra in general as well...y'know, reminisce about "the code" and all.

I don't know...its looks nice and all, but no powerups??? What kind of a side scrolling contra game would be without the spread cannon??? Laser gun??? To get those powerups are part of the fun of the game.

Yes. It's only Americans of a certain age that care for that code - us Brits of a certain age care more for the POKE 35136 cheat.
