Could you guys be so kind as to help me with your knowledge and suggestions, I would like to turn my 16'x20 family room into a nice tv room. please advise so far I have chosen the Samsung 71 DLP rear projection which will sit the perfect location where a 6' bow window is presently, I also choose a Pioneer receiver and B&W in wall and ceiling speakers with a blue dvd player/recorder all componets will be hidden and the tv will look as if it is suspended in the air but it will be sitting in the window box .. Am I off to a good start please advise.

Are you going to cover the window up? You can paint the glass flat black on the inside and it will look like a perfect, limo tinted window on the outside. Then you can just build something thin to put it front and paint the whole area a solid color.
