Ok, here's a [stupid] question that I could use help with :)
My existing TV is hooked up to my existing VCR via a/v cable. I just purchased a DVD player and an audio receiver.
How do I connect my TV and VCR and DVD player and audio receiver? The DVD player manual says to connect the DVD unit directly to my TV, not through my vcr. How do I manage to use either my VCR or my DVD player through my TV - do I need a splitter or some type of A/B switch?
Thanks,
Walter

Hooking up a new system can get quite perplexing, but not imposible:)
First you need to decide on the type of connections you will be using. What are the TV, receiver, and VCR capable of connection wise? Which ones have s-video and component connections (TV, receiver and VCR)? Is your receiver Dolby digital? Answering these will help decide which may the best route for you.
Also, what is your main source of material(i.e. cable, sat, OTA, etc)?
Bill
