connecting both DVD Recorder and VCR

    Hi Everyone-

    I need to know how to hook up my DVD Recorder and VCR where I can record off Directv from either source. I own the following:

    DVD- Panasonic DMRE85H
    VCR- JVC HR s9600U s-vhs
    Receiver Denon 3801
    Sat. Receiver RCA DTC100

    Looking forward to your help!

    Just need to add the units to a video switcher that would allow this, assuming your audio rec'r does not have enough video inputs/tape loops.

    Are you wanting to hook up your RCA DTC100 to both your DVDR and your VCR?

    Do you have the RCA hooked up to your Denon? If not I would plug all three components..DVDR, VCR and DTC into your Denon. Then have the outputs from your Denon going back to your DVDR and VCR. Then when you have your DTC selected on your Denon the video and audio from the DTC will be outputed to both your DVDR and VCR and you can just hit record on either unit.
