Connecting 2 receivers (1 Viewer)

I have 2 receivers I'm using in a multi-room set-up. Receiver 1 is a combo Receiver/DVD Player (with DVD-A). Can I connect Receiver 1 (combo receiver) to Receiver 2 so that Receiver 2 gets the music signal from the combo receiver?

I was thinking I could use the Tape analog outs from receiver 1 to the tape analog ins on receiver 2. Receiver 2 doesn't have any digital inputs.

Will this, or something else work....or will I fry my receivers! Thanks

This will work without frying anything. You don't have to use tape in on receiver 2. Any input (other than phono) will be OK
