I am planning to buy a Polk PSW505 and i checked out some photos of it and found that it doesn't have a sub cable outlet, it has a line in for filtered and has another outlet that is unfiltered not sure what the difference is. I am a very very big newb when it comes to these subwoofers so please bare with me. I have a Sony STR-DG710 Reciever and when i look on the back it has speaker set A which has outlets for the center, surround back, surround left and right and front right and left, then it has a speaker set b which uses two sets of + and - outlets. So where would i plug the sub into.

Connect the Sony's subwoofer output to the Polk's low level, unfiltered RCA input with a quality RCA cable.
