I saw this movie years ago. It's very good! I love Edward G. Robinson and I always enjoy seeing Sig Ruman in supporting roles.

It was an important thing that Warner Bros. released this movie in early May of 1939, five months before Hitler invaded Poland. If only the country had heeded the warnings found in this movie sooner. Edward Robinson as always is really good, and this is the earliest role I've ever seen for George Sanders. Production values are strong, and picture quality is very good for a movie from 1939.

All great comments Benbess. I agree 100%.
I would also recommend the movie The Mortal Storm. There was a guy who had been imprisoned in Dachau who helped with the set design that portrayed the Dachau Concentration Camp in the movie. The movie itself was based on a novel by a woman who had run a boarding school in Austria and who saw the rise of the Nazi movement firsthand. Look up Phyllis Bottome in Wikipedia.
