concealing electric screen box (1 Viewer)

Working on a project where we want to hide or conceal the electric screen box that will be above the in wall entertainment cabinetry. Thinking along the lines of a valance or something. Anybody have any suggestions. Thanks.

A valance seems to be the way that most people prefer, especially if they are already planning on using theater curtains. I believe there's also an option of having the box mounted entirely in the ceiling, with a trap door to let it descend.

Yeah, Mike is right, that would look very nice. If you're installing an electric screen, then the cost increase to a ceiling recessed electric screen wouldn't be that much. Here is a shortcut to one such screen:
