LOS ANGELES, July 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- comScore (NASDAQ: SCOR) today announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of July 17, 2016, as compiled by the company's theatrical measurement services.

comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Notable newcomers had an impact internationally this weekend with Fox's 'Ice Age: Collision Course' taking the #1 market share position in 35 markets, earning $53.5 million from 15,132 screens in 51 total markets. Meanwhile, Sony's 'Ghostbusters' scared up a solid $19.1 million from 3,900 screens in 3 major territories in its international debut."
