LOS ANGELES, Feb. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- comScore (NASDAQ: SCOR) today announced the official worldwide weekend box office estimates for the weekend of Feb. 21, 2016, as compiled by the company's theatrical measurement services.

comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Fox's 'Deadpool' does it again topping the global box office with a $140 million second weekend and in the process almost reaches the half billion plateau at a breakneck pace. Chinese title 'Mei Ren You' (The Mermaid) had a brilliant $57 million global weekend and thus brings its cumulative total to a whopping $421 million."
