Recently in discussion I brought up to friends, that at present I do not own a dedicated CD player, and as such, I have been using my computer's DVD rom drive as my CD player. I am curious to know if anyone has done any tests comparing computer-based CD solutions with dedicated CD solutions. My setup is as follows:

LG DVD ROM connecting via 4pin Analogue cable to the CD-in of my Sound Blaster Audigy (24/96 playback). My Sound Blaster Audigy's speaker out is connected via a Stereo mini-jack to an RCA convertor to my Denon AVR-900's CD in.

    Comments? (No flames please)
