My neighbor is having the following problem with his printer:
He has a Compaq PC and a Lexmark printer. When he prints documents from various applications the letters are either smudged or the top half of the letters are too high. He has been on the phone with Lexmark tech support three times. They have done various diagnostics. They sent him a new ink cartridge. When he disconnected the printer from the PC and printed a test page it came out perfect. So they are telling him it must be something with Windows 98. What could it be?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
