    Hey everyone,

I was scouring the internet looking for computer games for Xmas, and came up with nearly nothing. So I was wondering what computer games everyone is looking at between now and Xmas? It doesnt look like theres much out there (or coming out) that intrests me right now. I play mostly war type stuff, FPS, Command and Conquer, but I'm open to most stuff (cant hurt to look). Anyway, looks like this Christmas will be a console one, between XBox and Ps2 for me.

Whats everyone looking forward to, computer-game wise?

For the PC, one of the HOTTEST new games right now is Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I had been playing the multiplayer test (beta) version for a few months and just got the retail game last week. In a word, it ROCKS! Great FPS. If you remember back in the day there was a game called Castle Wolfenstein which really invented the whole FPS idea. They've somehow managed to keep some of the same feel from the original game and of course the graphics/sound are about a million times better.

Oops, I ment to put in there that I got Wolfenstein the other day but I guess it slipped my mind. I've been playing since I got it this week and am loving it. Mostly been playing multiplayer, single player just isnt as compelling for me. But overall a very good game that is already getting a lot of my time.

Have you tried Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon yet? I've heard quite a lot of good things about it. I haven't tried it, myself.

After being in devolpment for 24 years Empire Earth is finally out. Gamespot gave it a 7.8 I think. It is made by the same guy who did AOE

Not much right now? Yeah, if you don't count Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Civilization III, Empire Earth and Battle Realms

Their are only two PC games I am waiting for, but they will not be out this year. They are Medal of Honor: Allied Attack and Jedi Knight 2.

My gaming xmas list consists of:
    Gamecube:
    Batman Vengeance
    Fifa 2002
    Pikmin
    Super Smash Brothers Melee
    Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3
There is SOME doubt over Smash Bros. If it doesnt hold up too well as a single player game (I never owned/played the orignal on N64) then I may drop it off the want list since for the most part my cube will be subject to play only from myself.
    Gameboy Colour
Harry Potter & The Philosopher's Stone
Yup...I'm back into gaming alright. [IMG]

Batman Vengeance = good choice. Really dug that one.

How about Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance for PS2? Wonderful visuals, Diablo/Gauntlet-like gameplay, plus you can play in co-op mode all set in the BG universe.

I have some tester friends at Sony and they've been raving about it. Heh and they hate everything.

Also there's ICO. One of my personal faves.

    For PC there's:

    Gothic

    Wizardry 8

    Etherlords

    Dark Age of Camelot

    Everquest: Shadows of Luclin

    Aliens vs Predator 2

NOFL (old one but you might want to try it, it rocked)

    Civ 3
