I was looking for a certain Sega CD game when I went to buyritegames.com and found this interesting item...
Has anyone either heard about this & used it, and how good is the quality?
    Thanks!

It won't improve the picture quality any but it could be usefull in allowing you to use an S-video switch box for all connections. You can go to Radio Shack and pick one up there for $20, half what they are charging.

Actually, there's one even less costly than the radio shack adapter. Hosa makes 2 different composite to svideo adapters, one with a male rca and one with a female rca. You should be able to get them from just about any music store that sells mixers and other sound reinforcement gear. I got mine at cost, but I think full retail is only $5 or $6 per adapter. Obviously, it's not going to improve the signal, but it makes connections easier.

They aren't listed on the Hosa web site but if you want model numbers I can dig them up for you at work.

OK. The NSR-380 is a female svideo to male RCA adapter. The NSR-381 is a male svideo to female RCA adapter. Suggested retail price of around 6.50 each.
