Ok here's my dilema: I have a 2 year old JVC (32x02), it handles the squeeze nicely via the service menu--SVideo inputs only though.
I recently got the 32D502 series which has the component video inputs. However, upon doing the squeeze via the service menu I get the white scan lines on the screen.
So if it were you, which would you use for DVD watching? SVideo/Nice squeeze on the older set, or the non-squeeze component video on the newer set?
    Thanks.

I think that I would notice the improved resolution of the squeeze more than the improved color of the component inputs. I vote for doing the s-video squeeze.

On my 84" setup, I had to look close to notice the differences (bleed and contrast/brightness) between s-video and component. I am not sure how much difference you would notice on a 32" direct view setup, maybe not much.
