Greets to the world of home theater.

Can any one out there please help, I was wondering if it was possible to connect my DVD players component video to my Samsung rear projection TV scart- if so would it make a difference to the picture.

also is there a better way of setting the TV up (picture alignment)without using the remote.

The difference in PQ will be marginal at best.
I like the remote, casue I can view each new adjustment from a distance.
