Component Video Switcher Question - JX-S111 (1 Viewer)

I have a Dvd player, Xbox, and GameCube I need to plug in to my Sanyo PLV-Z1 Projector. I'm thinking about getting a JVC JX-S111 component video switcher. My question is, will this switcher degrade my video signal? Thanks in advance for you input.

David: a lot of these issues (and answers) are raised in this thread on HD Video Switching in the receivers section.

Short answer: You have a projector (large display => sensitive) and you are trying to shove progressive video (frequencies up to 13 Mhz) through a switch box designed for component video (max frequencies 4 Mhz).

While you CAN do it and it WILL work, it's anybodys guess how much signal round-off you will get. The link above has several different options for you.
