My current RPTV is connected to my AV receiver via S-Video running thru a pair of 40' long high quality RG-6 coax runs. Picture quality is as good as using a typical 6' S-video connect (DBS/DVD source). Can I expect the same lossless connection using the RG-6 when I upgrade to component video connections (3 runs of coax). Also, do most new RPTV's auto sense between their S-Video and conponent inputs? Thanks!

Well for ultra long runs, I have noticed that component cleans up slight bleeding that occurs in s-video. Take a look around the edges of objects for this bleeding. You notice it more the bigger the picture is.
