I have a SONY KV-29FX66E (PAL) Wega TV set.

Some DVD's burned by myself look "too hot" (different zones in a person's face without detail) in this TV set.

This occurs connecting my Pioneer 454 DVD player with TV through RGB input... but with composite input video looks perfect!!

    I'm amazed.

    IRE level?? malfunction?? I'm disoriented.

Could anyone give me any suggestion??

    Thanks in advance.

What connections were you using when you calibrated the TV? if you havent done so I would suggest hooking up your player witht he component inputs, calibrating with avia and then try it out.

Also there is the other obvious solution, your tv might have different settings for each input, i know with my tv if i adjust the color on one input it only changes for that inpout, all the rest remain the same, so first of all make sure your tv has the same settign on both inputs then see what the difference is.
