I bought some cables and was wondering If they would be ok for component cables for my my dvd"RP56"to my panny 47".
Each cable was sold seperatly and it says on it "RCA home Theater video cable"The cables are pretty thick, doesn't say 75 ohms on them though,I havn't tried them yet.

Any video cable will work as a component video cable.

    Rick,
RCA's "Home Theater" series of cables are high quality and
manufactured for RCA by none other than Monster Cable. The
main diffrence is the value, you get a set of cables that
use the same wire as Monster for less money.
