Compatiability (1 Viewer)

I know I posted on this before, but I cant seem to find the thread. Ok, to make a long story short, someone who owned a JVC XV-S65GD and a Yamaha reciever stated that there were complications with the audio since the two were not compatiable. My question is, since I have a Yammy RX-V1000 and planning on getting a XV-S65GD will I run into any compatiability problems? Is there any way of knowing or predicting these problems?

Im not exactly sure, I have talked to the guy, I just read his post from the SPot. This is what he had to say:
"I got this email from JVC today.
That firmware upgrade was only for video, if the unit is skipping you may
want to have the unit checked out. Please call our service locator"
Picture is fine on mine. I think the sound problem is the Yamaha Receiver I'm using. It and the JVC just aren't compatable. Time to check out a Denon Receiver."
I may Email him and try to get more info.
