Comparing Sony SS-V230 speaker packages (1 Viewer)

I started with a HTiB that used Sony SS-V30's. While I'm happy with them I was wondering if folks who have had experience with them or are knowledgeable of them could help me with comparisons.

Since I have no other experience, on a scale of 1-10 I would give these a solid 5 and would like to obtain a set that would rank from 6.5 to 7.5.

Suggestions? Thanks

Well if you mean SS-ve335 or something like that I can tell you first hand they are horrible. Sub is nothing but harsh plastic box sounding junk. I moved up to a SA-WM40 big diff in sound, not just power. Speakers that come with those units are typical. Decent range tiny sound. The 3 piece sony speaker set is a must have for decent sound. Hey but what do I know. I give them a 3. Too pricy.
