Looking to buy a new Panasonic progressive scan DVD player and wanted to know if I would be better off buying seperate components of a DVD and VCR player or buying the combo ones that they have. Will you see more quality with a stand alone dvd player than you would with the combo. Looking at the RP82 and CP72 and the PV-D4752 and PV-D4762 combo's.
Are they basically the same beast or does one have better features than the other.
Any input would be appreciated. I am also going to buy a Panasonic CT36HX42 TV as well. How does this HDTV compare with the Sony XBR and the Toshiba Cinema Series.
