Comp. Video Cables - same or Diff vs Regular Video Cables

    Are regular Video cables useable for a Component Video Connection from a DVD player to a TV or not? Thanks a lot!

    Yes. Component video cables are just 3 composite video cables in a bundle.

    Just make sure the 3 cables you use are identical. Mixing different lengths/brands is bad and any problems should be visible.

    Hi Tommy,
    just make sure you don't use a 3 audio/video set for component video connection. Then it's not the same.
