Comast DVR noise (1 Viewer)

I recently upgraded to the Comcast DVR box was wondering if anyone else who has one notices that the hard drive is fairly loud. I can hear it clicking away from the next room. Is this typical? Or did I just get a noisy unit? It is a silver Motorola unit IIRC, not sure of the model #.

There have been reports that a few of the Motorola/Comcast 6214 DVRs have had noisy drives. Apparently Motorola used several different drives in this DVR and some are noisier than others. If it bad you can ask Comcast to swap units.
