I see that TCM is presenting this movie in widescreen in March. Why the delay in a widescreen DVD release? Never released to laser in widescreen, either...

One of my most wanted DVD's. I've been waiting too long to see this in widescreen on laser or DVD. I have my fingers crossed that this will come out sooner rather than later, seeing that Columbia owns the title and they have an excellent track record on catalog titles. Hey, they just annouced 3:10 to Yuma on DVD, a great western that I don't think many other studios would have the balls to release on DVD (seeing how it's a fairly obscure).
