When the bland single disc version of "Resident Evil" was released, news of a better double DVD Special Edition with all the missing supplemental material was supposedly on the horizon for 2003. So far, no word has been said of it since then. What gives, Columbia? I, and probably other fans of the film, want to know when the SE is going to be available? Hopefully you will put back into the film some of the edited-for-time scenes because certain spots jump from one location to the next without a proper transition, like when Alice and Matt are suddenly running from the office area into the computer room outside the laser corridor while escaping zombies. Something is definitely missing in between those two scenes. That's the most obvious one. Anyway, please release the Special Edition a.s.a.p. BTW, what was the freakin' point of the Superbit edition? Movie-only discs, even if they look and sound better, are a waste of money when people desire extras to enjoy with the film. You should have made it a two disc set with the supplemental material on the second DVD.
