Great news from DVDFile. Another Bogart movie down! Warners, why don't you follow their lead?

Thanks for the notice, Greg! Sahara is one of my favorite Bogart films.

As some of you probably remembered, this title was scheduled to be release two years ago but something happened before it's release. I considered this film, one of Bogart's best and who can ever forget "Lulubelle"?????? What a great war film! Combined this release with Fox releasing "Guadalcanal Diary", "Halls of Montezuma", "Wing and a Prayer" and "Young Lions" this is very good news for fans of classic war films.

I'm so happy that it's not that Brooke Shields monstrosity film of the same name.
Still play my LD now and again. Still looks pretty decent, although there are a few problems here and there. Don't think I'd like to run around the blazing hot Sahara in a steel tank with no air conditioning - how did these guys do it (I mean the real soldiers in WWII)?

Are we sure this isn't the 1983 Brooke Shields effort? [IMG]

Nope this is the real Bogie "Sahara". [IMG] Has any of the "chosen people" gotten their hands on a review copy yet? This is a good story of lots of "diverse" people working for a common good - very timely these days.

Preordered mine about a month ago...I don't think this is a title you'll find in Best Buy.

I just noticed that Amazon.com has a very good price ($14.96) on SAHARA, since they have a misprice on the MSRP as $19.95 (it should be $24.95). With shipping it ends up being about the same as DeepDiscountDVD's price with free shipping.
