Hi,

If someone happens to watch an HD-DVD on a regular TV, will it be output in PAL/NTSC or something other?

Compare this to the 360 and PS3 - what happens with SD output?

It'll be interesting to see how downconversion will be handled for European HD DVD releases. As far as I am aware, there are no 25fps releases planned yet. Likely they will be downconverted to 480i or 576i and output as a 60Hz signal, which should be fine as most TV sets are multi-standard and should accept both 50Hz and 60Hz signals.
