Colored Credits???

    Is it just me, or do credits at the end of most dvd movies are colored vs white???? What gives its like red and blue and all colors are running thru the credits. WHY???

    Please list the models of your TV and DVD player as well as type of connection (composite, S-Video, component). I have not noticed this phenomenon.

    I think you're referring to a kind of colour banding that is common in composite video. (i.e. using one RCA cable to connect the video from your DVD Player to your display)It seems that there is not enough bandwidth in composite to master a perfect white colour in small text like credits. (The X-Files on-screen captions are particularly flimsy in this regard in composite.) In my personal experience switching to S-Video resolves this issue, although if you can, go with component video.
