I am having big problems with choosing a color scheme for my new HT... I know that the ceiling will be black with the viewing wall probably black also. We would like to incorporate Burgandy into the scheme, but not sure if we want to go with Burgandy Carpet or walls....

I have 4 kids that will be making messes I am sure.

Are there any sites that can help with this? Any ideas or comments??

    Thanks!

Not sure if it will help but this thread has some pictures of my theater. The bulkheads are deep eggplant purple, the walls in these pictures aren't finished but they're a faux finished purply greyish brown (sorry). Carpet is, at least in this lighting, a silver grey with hints of purple. Chairs are also purple.

I would generally recommend against too much color on large surfaces if you are planning on front projection. Light reflects off and back and tints your picture. You'll want to keep it dark and matte regardless. Burgundy is a great color choice for a theater as it has that funky art deco vibe. It's also really rich and warm.
