    Please forgive my noobness...

On my television, I tend to get colors which bleed over into the colors next to them.

I haven't really noticed it with DVDs (Component inputs), but when watching cable/satellite it becomes much more noticeable... it's usually white bleeding over to the right on top of black next to it... althought sometimes it's black bleeding into white or red into black.. etc. etc..

Is this just a calibration thing.. like I need to get this AVIA disc I have seen in several posts? A normal problem with basic cable signals? Or is something wrong with my TV?

Now what do you mean by "bleed?"

And what kind of TV do you have.

If CRT based, it could be blooming or image distortion.

If Projection-CRT, it could be poor convergence or poor focus, or poor beam focus.

    Could be something else entirely...

Well, first off.. it is projection.

Secondly, by bleed I mean that the one color spreads over the top of the one to the right of it... like little short lines sticking out, that constantly get shorter/longer... not totally sure how to describe it..

    Greetings

So have you done the service convergence yet to make sure it is not that?

Some satellite channels are notorious for being bad quality ...

    Regards

Service convergence as in the convergence settings in the setup menu? Yeah, I had done them when I first got the TV. Went through them again a couple hours ago... will have to keep an eye on it over the next day or two.
