Does anyone know anything about deluxe limited edition collector box sets? I have two of them, North by Northwest and Twister.

They include 8 original Lobby Card prints, Limited edition image from movie and 35 mm film frame, original one sheet movie poster (24"x40"), 6 original B & W Photostills and a great "refurbished" DVD in widescreen and 5.1 Dolby Surround.

These are the only movies I've found like this and would like to find more. Anyone?

EDITED for your spelling and format pleasure.

Creative Design Art makes the Warner special limited collector's boxed editions.

Here's what I found by looking at their web site and DVD Price Search for the sake of completeness.

The list of titles from DVD Price Search produced by Creative Design Art (besides Jessica Simpson: Dream Chaser and The Legend of Marilyn Monroe):
    • 2001: A Space Odyssey (Collector's Edition)
    • Amadeus (Collector's Edition)
    • Ben-Hur (Collector's Edition)
    • Blade Runner (Collector’s Edition)
    • Blazing Saddles (Collector’s Edition)
    • Bullitt (Collector's Edition)
    • Casablanca (Collector’s Edition)
    • Citizen Kane (Collector's Edition)
    • Dirty Dozen (Collector's Edition)
    • Dirty Harry (Collector's Edition)
    • Doctor Zhivago (Collectors Edition)
    • Enter the Dragon (Collector’s Edition)
    • Exorcist (Collector’s Edition)
    • Matrix (Gold Collection)
    • Matrix (Platinum Mini-Box Collector's Edition)
    • Matrix (Collector’s Edition)
    • North By Northwest (Collector's Edition)
    • Ocean's Eleven (Collector's Edition)
    • Perfect Storm (AUTOGRAPHED Collector's Edition)
    • Perfect Storm (Collector's Edition)
    • Perfect Storm (Platinum Mini-Box Collector's Edition)
    • Prince And The Showgirl (Collectors Edition)
    • Pulp Fiction (Limited Special Edition)
    • Singin' In the Rain (Collector's Edition)
    • Superman: The Movie (Deluxe Series Box Set)
    • Time Machine (Collector's Edition)
    • Twister (Collector’s Edition)
Big list, but crosschecking by CDA's site shows no evidence of these titles (may be either site's mistake or my own):
    • Amadeus (Collector's Edition)
    • Citizen Kane (Collector's Edition)
    • Doctor Zhivago (Collectors Edition)
    • Prince And The Showgirl (Collectors Edition)
    • Singin' In the Rain (Collector's Edition)
    • Superman: The Movie (Deluxe Series Box Set)

In addition, CDA claims to have released the following:
    • Clockwork Orange, A (Classic Series)
    • Star is Born, A (Deluxe Series)
    • Full Metal Jacket (Classic Series)
    • Gone With the Wind (Deluxe Series)
    • Blade Runner (Signature Series in addition to other CDA release)
    • Bullitt (Signature Series in addition to other CDA release)
    • Matrix (Signature Series in addition to other CDA releases)

So there's at least 28 releases, counting the 7 only on Creative Design's site but not the 6 only on DVD Price Search.

(Be aware that in cases of multiple disk releases earlier releases might be in these sets.)

*whew* that took longer to do than I thought! Hope that helps somebody. [IMG]

From DVD Price Search: Grab this Blazing Saddles Deluxe Collector Set and you'll receive not only the DVD movie with all the extras, but a Blazing Saddles movie poster, 8 original lobby cards, 6 collector photo stills and a framed 35mm film Senigraph. And it's all held in a special folder![IMG]
