Heh, speaking of tire-killers; last night I'm racing the UK. SS6, on that last hair-pin just before the finish, I blow a tire!! Ack, I was furious. I limped across the finish with sparks flying from the bare rim (the sound of rim-on-pavement was really good)

I assume the tires went because they were for mud, and the last stage is all tar...and I was burning lots of rubber twisting through the turns.
