    Interesting article on how the Coen Brothers edited Intolerable Cruelty on Macs running Final Cut Pro.

    This was the first film they edited digitally.

    Actually, it isn't that interesting. People have been cutting films digitally (on systems such as Avid Film Composer and Lightworks) for over ten years. The amazing thing is that someone at Apple thinks this is new and innovative. There have been over a thousand films cut on Macintosh systems (using Avid Film Composer).

    Its interesting because it was done on Final Cut Pro. A $999 package. Avid isn't interesting, its commonplace and its not 1000 bucks. Apple MAKES FCP, so obviously, they are advertising what can be done with Apple software.
