Cluless on Satellite TV (1 Viewer)

Getting fed up w/cable.
I just get the basic service (Movies I buy on LD and DVD so movie channels are not a issue)
Who has the best pricing for basic service. I hear some company's give free instals and a free dish (even a controler for a 2nd room?).
Anyone know any good deals going on or any websites that lay out the facts about satellite TV including all the fine print (# of channels for basic, monthly fees, hidden taxes, reliable providers, etc)

I believe Dish Network's basic package (America's Top 100 - $29.99/mo) is cheaper than DirecTV's basic package (Total Choice - $32.99)...
