Clone Wars Animated Series? (1 Viewer)

According to AICN, it's a done deal and will air on Cartoon Network in a fixed slot as shorts between two regular half-hour series. I never believe news on AICN until I read it from a reliable source and the whole format seems a little weird to me. Anyone else hear anything about this?

I have heard about it and think it would be great...though this is the first time I had heard it would be as shorts?

I think that while their original source was the real deal, and a Clone Wars series is going through, I think that someone is posing to take advantage of the hype with the shorts thing. Just don't see how star wars could fit into 2 minute shorts.
